Tropical Guava - Mexican Cream

Psidium guajava

The Mexican Cream Guava is characterised by its medium-sized, round fruit with a diameter of approximately 50mm. The skin of this guava is light yellow, often with a slight blush of red. The creamy white flesh is thick, very sweet, and possesses a fine texture, making it an excellent choice for fresh eating. The seed cavity is small, containing relatively soft seeds.

The tree itself has an upright growth habit, and it is particularly popular in various regions of Mexico. As the fruits ripen, they transition to a vibrant yellow color, occasionally displaying touches of red. The creamy yellow flesh is not only highly fragrant but also soft and juicy. Its flavor profile is distinctly tropical, offering a classic guava taste.

Seed-propagated from isolated parent stock, our tropical guava (Psidium guajava) comes largely true to type in flavour, flesh colour, and aroma. Minor variation in fruit size and seed density is normal across individuals. Expect first fruit within 1–2 years under suitable conditions.
