There was a bit of a delay in the shipping which made me worry about the plants, which isn’t anything on the nursery. But the plants were still in perfect condition. I was also surprised by the size of them and the price compared to other nurseries, cheap and big plants would highly recommend
Arrived in great condition. However NZ Post delivered them to the wrong address! We managed to retrieve the delivery from a few houses down the street. The driver was obviously dyslexic as it was delivered to 168 rather than 186 despite being correctly labelled
This is the third plant I got from Flying Dragon and they always have very good seedlings. The 2 citrus plants I bought last year are growing well and have started bearing fruits. Looking forward to a bountiful harvest from my new calamansi.
Placed an order on Monday received the 2 trees on Wednesday in Auckland, well packaged and healthy. Amazing service, will definetly order from here and again and highly recommend to all.
The plants we get from Flying Dragon Nursery are always in beautiful condition.

Offering’s fabulous…grateful to have access to such a wonderful variety of dwarf and standard plants
Timing and delivery and packaging care excellent
Can’t speak highly enough of this nursery.
Well grown and cared for plants that thrive.
Fantastic service from Scott. Love my papaya plants. Arrived looking stunning and am hopeful that I will be rewarded with fruit!
Mango plant arrived safe and well.
Impressed with how big it was.
Looking good.
Now in a bigger container.
Hoping it will survive in my glasshouse and thrive.
My dealings with Flying Dragon Nursery has always been hassle free.
Many thanks.
My plants arrived so well packaged there was no evidence of any harm from their journey. My kumquat even has fruit on it.
Packaging was excellent, the plant arrived looking very healthy, and the delivery was quick.
Great service, I got a reply to an after hours email within an hour. The tree was shipped well and so far (one week later) the tree is settling into its new pot well!
Third year of this dwarf.
Is a very sweet lemon, and very decorative as well with its stripes.
Has fruited right from the start too.
Third year I've had this beauty.
Has fruited the last two years.
Fruits late, so not a chance to ripen.
I'm in the BOP, so when I move, into a green house she'll go.
Is very decorative with her big leaves.

Two planting options for citrus
Flying Dragon Dwarf
The Flying Dragon citrus rootstock, developed in Japan, is ideal for small-space gardening. This innovative rootstock restricts tree height to 1.5-2 meters while yielding abundant, high-quality fruit. With strong resistance to common citrus diseases and adaptability to cold and wet climates, Flying Dragon thrives in pots, on balconies, and in courtyards, making it perfect for manicured citrus trees. Introduced into New Zealand by our nursery, this exceptional rootstock enables citrus enthusiasts to create their own citrus paradise, regardless of space constraints.
trifoliata(Standard)
The Rubidoux trifoliata, a cold-hardy, rootstock known for its upright growth and resilience to various biotic and abiotic stresses, making it suitable for diverse growing conditions. Trees grafted onto Rubidoux yield more fruit with higher sugar content than other trifoliata varieties, and when unpruned, can reach a mature size of approximately 2.5 to 3.5 meters in height and width. This rootstock is an excellent choice for both commercial and home growers.
