Fig - Sweet Black

A stunning deciduous fig tree producing medium sized, sweet, purple-black figs mid-season. The tree is a very heavy cropper, producing masses of delicious figs annually. Easy to grow and self-fertile, this variety makes a beautiful and productive addition to edible gardens or mixed plantings. Reaches approx 4 m tall and 3 m wide if left unpruned, however it is easily pruned to shape and ideal for keeping as a smaller growing tree. Fig trees thrive in full sun, and like plenty of water in the summertime and during the harvest period.
