Coffea Arabica is a species of coffee plant that is widely grown for its beans, which are used to make coffee. It is native to Ethiopia but is now grown in many parts of the world, including Latin America, Africa, and Asia.
The Coffea Arabica plant is an evergreen shrub or small tree that can grow up to 10 meters tall but is usually pruned to a smaller size for easier harvesting. It has glossy, dark green leaves and produces white, fragrant flowers that give way to bright red berries. Inside the berries are the coffee beans, which are roasted and ground to make coffee.
Coffea Arabica is highly valued for its delicate, complex flavor profile and low acidity. It is often considered the superior coffee variety compared to other species, such as Coffea Robusta, which has a harsher, more bitter taste.
The plant prefers dappled or indirect sunlight, regular and ample watering, daytime temperatures between 21 to 27 degrees Celsius and nighttime temperatures between 18 and 21 degrees Celsius, a 50% or higher humidity level, and regular pruning.
