The Casimiroa, also known as the White Sapote, is a tropical fruit tree native to Central America and Mexico. It is a member of the Rutaceae family, which also includes citrus fruits. The tree can grow up to 40 feet tall and has evergreen leaves. The fruit of the Casimiroa is round or oval-shaped and about the size of an apple. It has a thin, green skin and a creamy white flesh that is sweet and custard-like. The flesh has a flavor that is often compared to banana, pear, and vanilla.

Here are some main features of Casimiroa pike.

Fruit: Juicy, creamy white flesh like custard, tastes like banana and pear.
Tree: Drooping branches, perfect for small gardens.
Needs: Full sun/part shade, well-drained soil, regular watering (especially young trees).
Bonus: Self-fertile, but two trees give more fruit.
Harvest: Late April-May.
