Purple Malay guavas are round to oblong in shape, boasting a dark purple, smooth skin. Their inner pulp is a vibrant, translucent purple, offering a slightly acidic yet sweet flavor. Encased within the fleshy pulp are multiple small, hard seeds. These guavas are best enjoyed fresh or as a delightful addition to juices. The foliage of the Malay guava are a striking dark red to purple colour, while its flowers are particularly distinctive, showcasing the most beautiful bright pink blooms.
